Natural Language Processing

Too Long; Didn't Read!

Natural language processing is interesting because it can break down troves of data into a few important keywords. I wish I had it back in school, so I didn't need to read all those long essays and books. I'm interested in it for how language can be broken down for sentiment analysis or knowledge gain. Furthermore, NLP means that I might never need to learn another language!

Natural Language Processing is incredibly important in the current technological shift as so much of how we communicate is being logged and tracked. Society prefers to communicate via text messaging and e-mail. Machines are verbally logging and responding to our commands (e.g., Alexa, Google, Cortana, Bixby, Siri, anyone?). Thus, we will be exploring in how NLP can make our lives more efficient.
